2026 Melbourne Marathon Spartans Annual General Meeting

Almost 300 Spartans and guests enjoyed the 2026 Annual General Meeting. Minutes of the meeting, and all reports are or will be here.

Mark was later elected to the committee.

Vicky Chung presenting the Treasurer’s report, with secretary Pamela Young in the background. Vicky retired from the committee after seven years as a member including two as treasurer where she modernised our accounting processes. We wish her well and might see her return in the future.

Fastest Spartans 2025

Both Andrea and Dion were also fastest in 2024. Dion was two seconds slower in 2025 than in 2024!

The Pheidippides award is an optional award presented to the Spartan who finishes in a time closest to the cut-off. The award recognises the grit and determination of the runner.
