The photograph below was taken during a publicity event at the MCG for the 2021 Melbourne Marathon. Roger has two ambitions involving the MCG: firstly to complete his 43rd Melbourne Marathon, and secondly, to visit an AFL game where he can be confident that Hawthorn might win.
Roger achieved the first of his ambitions by finishing the 2021 marathon an impressive 23 minutes faster than his 2019 result.
